SirenVibe Privacy Policy Local-First
This Privacy Policy explains how SirenVibe (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use the SirenVibe mobile app.
1. Core Privacy Model
SirenVibe is designed as a local-first app. By default, chat analysis is performed on your device.
- No account is required to use core features.
- Raw chat text is not sent to our servers in default mode.
- Imported files are used for parsing and analysis on-device.
2. Data We Process On Device
- Imported chat export files (e.g., WhatsApp TXT, Instagram JSON/ZIP).
- Derived analysis metrics (for example: reply speed, trends, confidence level).
- App state such as feature flags and available analysis credits.
Certain app settings and entitlement flags are stored in secure local storage on your device to keep app behavior consistent across sessions.
3. Optional AI Mode (Only With Consent)
SirenVibe includes an optional AI mode. This mode is disabled unless you explicitly enable it and give upload consent.
- Only redacted message chunks are sent.
- Raw names are replaced with aliases (for example:
target,other_1). - Uploads are limited (currently up to 500 messages).
- Raw message storage is disabled by policy in the request contract.
4. Purchases and Entitlements
If you purchase subscriptions, billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive and store only entitlement status needed to unlock paid features.
5. Sharing
SirenVibe can generate share cards. Share cards are designed to avoid exposing raw message content and direct personal identifiers.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- You can clear active session data from the app settings screen.
- Imported cache files are deleted after processing on a best-effort basis.
- You may disable AI mode and revoke upload consent at any time.
7. Third-Party Services
If AI mode is enabled, requests are sent to a configured AI endpoint, which may use third-party model providers. Those providers may have separate terms and privacy policies.
8. Children’s Privacy
SirenVibe is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us so we can review and act.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
